Looking for some advice/tips for my monks heroes ^^
Ok, so i'm trying to finish off my guardian/vanquisher titles on my monk as quickly as possibly. i can do them easily enough, but im just trying to maximise speed here, and dont want to run around with a sub-par build for a long time. Also have 3 merc heroes to play around with
So far ive been messing around with two similar builds, with me playing RoJ or possibly UA. I've managed to do DoA NM FR no cons with the first, but seems like too much healing for regular vanqing
FoC generally works really well, providing a pretty constant supply of aoe damage, backed up by some medium healing, with the ST prot stopping most damage. Im tempted to swap one of the FoCs out for SS, but dont know if its worth it. Also looking for a way to fit Fall back on there somewhere :P
St is on the communing rit to increase mobility, and i just prefer it in general. Considering swapping out sos or communing rit for a inep mes.
the second build i've been trying out is swapping the FoC's out for
the two seem quite even, although the mes's have alot less healing, but more shutdown.
Any advice, swaps, skill changes would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Is your energy management good?
Anyway, don't bring skill 7 on the def spirits hero, becuase you only cast 3 spirits who stay out of aggro often.
And I should bring 2 heroes with half of the bar the resto skills, instead of 3 heroes with 2 resto skills.
Concept looks nice though.

e-management is fine across the board, bar sometimes the panic, who can go low during long fights but isnt too big of a risk. Yeah i was experiment with explosive growth, and have dropped it, was just using saved templates :P

My two ideas...
-If you're aiming for speed, i think that mobility and no-micro precast are quite important. So first of all, i'd swap the ST for a ER protter: same effects, but you're not limited in spirit range and you just have to manually precast ER if you need it, instead of ST->3 spirits(spreading them and putting in right order). It will also give the opportunity to have 2 aegis or some others utility using the MM prots now on ER. I'm thinking to command for Stand your ground! + Fall Back, but you have some slots and point to play around, so experiment by yourself.
-Agree 100% on using ST for offensive communing Spirits. I could suggest maybe to limit them to 3 (ST affects 3 spirits @12 spwaning), so the hero wont use ST for a cheap and quite fast-recharging spirit (like pain) and do not use it on spirits like dissonance or disenchantement(25 ene or so, high recharge). The remainign slots can be filled with some others heals/utility skills as you prefer.
-Foc spikers seems fine. I'd just put Weaken armor on the 2nd (in place of barbs) and another AoE long lasting hex on the 1st(suffering for example). Also, a little snare on your bar would be awesome for both Roj and FoC. You could replace the vanguard ward with Triptophane sig, just first idea comes to me.
-As said above, you could have some problem with e-management on last two rits, and heals aren't spreaded so well, but if you're playing UA you shouldn't have problem.

you have too much healing. I would dump the prot from the mm and add mark of pain/insidious parasite/ and either meekness or weaken armor.
I've never used FoC, so i can't speak to it. If you were looking to get rid of one, i would swap that for an ineptitude mesmer. I would get rid of the the ST spammer and use either a keystone mesmer or your other mesmer.
Maybe consider dropping the Panic mesmer altogether. It is great, but i don't think it is needed in many, in any, settings anymore.
Also consider Signet of Ghostly Might and Spiriteech Aura on the communing rit. Those combined just shred things.
For most of pve, having 1 dedicated healing bar is all you need. Anything else is just overkill.

Aura of the Lich - Creates Bone Horrors which are much higher level and armor than Bone Minions. BM's will die quicker synergising with Death Nova,Horrors not so much.
FoC -Defile-Desecrate - Why? This is wasted damage potential. Malaise doesn't make sense at all and FF doesn't matter when you can abuse MBAS
I would take Unatural Signet over Mind Wrack and Wastrels Worry over Waste not want not
All I can think of atm

why would someone use glyph of lesser energy on a mesmer when there's power drain and waste not, want not? get out Mind Wrack, Leech Sig and GolE. Put Unnatural Signet, FomF and Power Drain.
Smiter's Boon is kinda random on your bar imo, having divine healing/heaven's delight is WAY more useful.

Another reason to use an ER protter instead of ST rit is that the defensive spirits tend to be wasted on minions, which is both bad for team mates and extends the minions' lives, minimizing death nova damage.
